A Needlepoint Pillow for Everyone

Using needlepoint pillows to decorate your personal space is normally considered something for old ladies. Cats, tea, and pillows tend to be thought of together.

Needlepoint is such a versitle craft that it really can be used for all most anyone. All you need is an idea of what would work for a particular person. I would not want to give a sweet and heartwarming decorative pillow to a person that is never home and is normally out running the streets. Go for something a little more edgy sometimes.

Clever sayings and / or a picture of almost any item can be used to create a personalized needlepoint pillow that would work with any decor.

Personally I'm not patient enough to do the actual work, I prefer to just purchase a stock item or to have someone make the item that I want if it is not possible for me to find and buy what I'm looking for but if you need to learn to create easy needlepoint pillows projects for beginners you need to start with practice and more practice.

Pet lovers often get things such as dog needlepoint pillows or pillows with cats on them but what about people with other hobbies? Gardeners and flowers, Sports fans with a team logo, or perhaps a car nut with their favorite classic any hobby will have an associated item or phrase that can be used as a gift idea.

I'm a geek, a gardener, and a pet lover It is not difficult for me, when I feel like shopping, to find a nice item for myself. I mentioned what I was but I didn't mention that I hate shopping so I seldom bother to buy myself anything fluffy like a pillow.

That's where gift giving and receiving comes in so handy. If you can't come up with a gift idea the best thing to do is to think of the favorite hobby that your receiver has and work that into your shopping trip.

I do like to have pillows on the couch and the ones that I like best tend to be smaller and decorative. As an occasional napper I've got to have a pillow handy if I decide to "rest my eyes" for a minute.

This hub got a bit more personal than I had intended I may have to come back and edit it at a later date. LOL
