Entryway Storage Benches

 Using an entryway storage bench is yet another way to unclutter your life.  These benches are practical and you can find one to fit any décor.  Personally I am a fan of wood but if you like metal or molded plastic you will be able to locate a bench that will suit you.

Let’s deal with the practical reasons for purchasing a storage bench (entryway or not).  You can sit on them in which makes putting on your shoes and socks a much less wobbly adventure and you can put your junk in it.  If it is out of sight you don’t have to deal with it right now.

 I’ll tell you up front I do not have an “entryway” as a matter of fact I don’t know anyone that does.  You do not need to use any storage furniture for a particular room.  It doesn’t matter what it is called because unless you tell someone what it is no one will even wonder why you have a particular bench in your living room instead of the bedroom.

Furniture sellers are way too fancy for me, I just see something that I like and I figure out where to put it once I get it home.  OK sometimes people laugh and point at my attempts at decorating but they always assure me that it is all in good fun…I always wonder why it’s fun for them.

Storage in general is big with me.  I have way too much stuff that I never use filling my house.  If I can find a functional piece of furniture that stores stuff I’m on it in a heartbeat.  I mentioned earlier in my compact disc storage hub that stuff and I just go together.

I wonder how many CD storage binders would fit into the average entryway storage bench.  I could unclutter my storage devices by storing one type into another.  Who woulda thunk it?  Excuse me folks I’ve got some planning to do.

I’m just kidding around here a bit but let’s face reality.  I got stuff and you got stuff and although we really should get rid of it, we won’t.  If we can’t get rid of it we need to hide it or disguise it.

The price of an entryway storage bench is going to vary greatly depending on whether you buy it at Wal-Mart or some Antique Store.  Deciding how much you are willing to spend before you start shopping will save a lot of pinching pennies later.
